The EWS is original to the car, Wouldn't the ISN be stored on the EWS and shouldn't the Alignment of the DME and EWS sync the ISN to both modules? You can try resync-ing them. The used module contains the immobilizer information from the other car, and this can’t be overwritten or changed with ISTA.
